The Archive was Tripé’s entry on the Castelo Branco 48 Hour Film Project 2015. The rules of the competition stated that one short movie should be directed, edited, scored and delivered in only two days. Required elements for the competition involved a blank piece of paper, an athlete named Cláudio or Cláudia Santos, and the line “Don’t open that door”. The drawn genre was Fantasy.
The Archive was the grand winner of the competition, taking home 9 awards: Best Film, Best Script, Best Music (David Pais), Audience Award, Best Costumes (shared), Best Use of Prop, Best Use of Line, Best Use of Character, and an Honourable Mention for Best Actor (Pedro Branco)
